I'm eagerly looking for these authors to write more such books.. It is a "must read" for those interested in the intersection of science, academia, and business. "On Speed: The Many Lives of Amphetamine" is a brilliant and insightful analysis of the history of an important class of drugs, amphetamines. I had to get this book for my advanced computational fluid dynamics class. I want to compare this book to "Half the Sky" and in that case, it has some of the same themes, but nowhere near the amount of personal narrative and sheer information that comes from "Half the Sky.". Do George and Harvey get their happy ever after ?
Yet again Ashley has managed to get me hooked by the end of the first chapter and sadly all too soon (I thought) I had actually finished not realising that I had in fact been sat in the garden for nearly three hours !
