Jan Steinbright is an artist, writer, and oral historian who has worked with programs involving Alaska Native culture for more than twenty years. She lives aboard a tugboat in Sitka from which she combs the waters of Sitka Sound for kelp for her unusual baskets. She has also edited Howard Luke: My Own Trail.
Clark James Mishler's photography has been published in numerous regional, national, and international publications including Parade, Geo, U.S. News and World Report, Smithsonian Air and Space, Time, and National Geographic. He has received two Awards of Excellence for his photography from Communication Arts Magazine.
There are numerous points throughout which take up page space. This is yet another in Taschen's fine collections of books intent on making us open our eyes and minds to the levels we all can achieve - with a little help from books like this. "On Speed: The Many Lives of Amphetamine" is a brilliant and insightful analysis of the history of an important class of drugs, amphetamines. Not ISDN number on the cover and likely not for resale in the US. The fact that many marriages are polygamous and have no legal standing only exacerbates the situation.
Amid the disheartening as well as immensely encouraging stories, Sharma does not mince words. But anybody who must work on actual pixels or lines of code or even dollars will need much more, on every topic.
The best part of the book for the experienced designer is the small case studies in the last chapters.. . This didn't help me AT ALL, and I would NOT recommend you purchase this book.. The only drawback to the stitches
