JOHN BECKER was born in Chicago, Illinois, and attended Harvard University. Besides having written several books for children, John was an actor and owned an art gallery in New York. He lived in London at the time of his death in the 1980's.
BARBARA COONEY illustrated over 100 books by the time she died in Maine in 2000. She was a two-time Caldecott award-winner, for Chanticleer and the Fox in 1958 and again for The Ox-Cart Man in 1980. She is also the illustrator of Walker's Kildee House and How the Hibernators Came to Bethlehem.
Ever since I can remember, I have been a fan of Dean Martin, and after reading this book I no longer wonder why. The topographic map has been handy for that. I'd recommend it for VR researchers, as well as those teaching VR at the undergrad or grad level.. It's a great book!. Even as the author of the materials, he cannot give the legal go-ahead for just anyone to copy his work because he did it as a work-for-hire for someone else.
Check out Herschell Gordon Lewis and his "swipe file" (or any of his copywriting books) or just collect your junk mail. Author does not talk about the basis of Vastu. I was impressed with the colour and black & white version of the same images. We liked how the author made it project management practical. The transcription is very good, is a shame tha it does not have a CD woth playalong tracks for practice purposes.
