Katharine Lee Bates was born in Falmouth, Massachusetts on August 12, 1859. In the summer of 1893, she embarked on an extensive tour of America, from Niagara Falls, to the World's Fair in Chicago, and ultimately to Pike's Peak near Colorado Springs. It was from this vantage point that she was inspired to write the first drafts of America the Beautiful. First published on July 4, 1895 by The Congregationalist, the poem underwent 2 more revisions to become the version we know today.
Chris Gall is the award-winning author and illustrator of Dog Vs. Cat, Awesome Dawson, Revenge of the Dinotrux, Substitute Creacher, and Dinotrux, a Publishers Weekly Best Children's Book. He is also the illustrator of America the Beautiful, another Publishers Weekly Best Children's Book. He lives in Tucson, Arizona.

Each of the authors has also provided numerous illustrative examples to clearly define their constructs. This is probably the most well written textbook I've ever read. Anne's house of dreams is no exception to the wonderful series that keeps following Anne and her new husband Gilbert 60 miles from Green Gables and to their new house of dreams in Four Winds.
This is the book we waited for-when Anne and Gilbert finally marry and have a beautiful wedding day. There is nothing in this book that would benefit the compulsive gambler and help him/her stop gambling. In order for them to survive it is imperative for mothers to work from home. He incorporates many fields of knowledge nicely into this work (there is much more in here than just BIOLOGY).
A few things I was disappointed with: It should have a geologic time scale, but does not. It covers everything in the manufacturers manual plus more in a well organized and easy to understand manner. Bacon
